Schwind Foundation is published on the occasion of the first retrospective of Jean Schwind (1935 – 1985) at S.M.A.K., Ghent, September 13, 2014 – January 11, 2015.

In the spirit of Schwind who owes his fame to appropriations of Christo, Arman, Fontana and other well-known artists, the present publication has been conceived as an homage to a famous catalogue of Marcel Broodthaers from 1974.
